AMARANTHINE
digital photography, 2022

»The female body has always been a common theme in the art world. This is due to the "masculine gaze" that used to dominate the art scene. The female body is a symbol of certain standards of beauty that can be culturally accepted as beautiful. Such concepts were erroneous, conveying an erroneous message about the image of women. Currently, the number of feminist artists has increased considerably, resulting in the display of a new image of the female body in art. The female body is no longer objectified
and the "fragility" of the body is no longer used to emphasize the idea of "weak sex".
The project ”Amaranthine” exposes the idea that the fragility of the feninin body is not opposed to the idea of power. The female body is strong even through fragility. The fragility of the female body should not mean weakness or be presented only for aesthetic pleasure.«
